Snellings Beach
Located 3km by road from Middle River Lookout, Snellings Beach is approximately 700m long and allows you to beach launch, beach fishing, surf, body board, and any other activity you wish to undertake.

Fishing
Fish that can be caught in the bay are Whiting, Tommy Ruffs, Flathead, and squid. In the winter you can catch Salmon and mullet from the beach. The best way to fish is from a boat which can be launched and retrieved off the beach with a suitable 4WD. Divers can also catch nearby Crayfish and Abalone. Surfing/Bodyboarding
On most days there is a clean break producing 1-1.5m waves.

Flinders Chase National Park

Remarkable Rocks

Geological phenomena are major attractions in Flinders Chase National Park. The naturally sculptured Remarkable Rocks formation lies atop a remnant granite outcrop, and Admirals Arch displays the ability of the ocean to carve and shape the coastline. Little Sahara
Little Sahara is an area of about 2 sq km of shifting sand. The area is recognised as a geological monument, a section of which is included in Seal Bay Conservation Park. The calcareous sand is high in lime which was blown inland when the sea bed was at a lower level, thousands of years ago.

Little Sahara is located about 7 km west of the Seal Bay/South-Coast Road intersection. If you go over the Eleanor River Bridge you have gone too far, the turn off is not signposted.

110 km west of Kingscote on the Playford Highway
Step back in time and take a guided tour at Cape Borda Lightstation and museum. Nearby are the historic lightkeepers’ cemetery and the original landing site for stores at Harveys Return. Seal Bay

Only 45 minutes from Kangaroo Island's main town Kingscote, Seal Bay Conservation Park is located on the south coast of Kangaroo Island. The primary attraction of the park is the Australian Sea-lion. Today the Department for Environment and Heritage provide guided tours along Seal Bay beach where visitors participating in a guided tour, can walk amongst the sea-lions while they rest after long fishing trips. A boardwalk also enables visitors to experience the Australian Sea-lion habitat.
